Round 1 Rules

All rules in the Contest Rules webpage apply. 

The competition is on April 19th, 2026 from 12:00-3:00 PM EST.​

You should have everything set up by 11:30 AM EST. This includes

• LateranAI (instructions​ may be found here).

• OBS Studio recording the entire screen, including the taskbar. Recording only part of the screen is not acceptable. 

• Two cameras are required: one to record the contestant's face and another to record the surrounding. This must be added onto OBS.

  • To do this, go to: https://vdo.ninja/​

  • Select Create Reusable Invite and generate

  • Paste the Guest Invite Link into your phone's browser and enable camera and microphone

  • In OBS, add a Browser source and put the OBS Browser Source Link in the URL box

  • On your phone, click Use Camera and Start.

Contestants must record details of any temporary leave from their desk, such as when they go to the restroom and when they return. A form will be provided after the contest.

If you fullsolve (solve every challenge), you must remain seated until the end of the competition.

​Start your OBS recording a few minutes before the contest starts and do not stop the recording until after the contest ends.
